Meet Your Farmers
We started Clark Family Gardens in 2018 to grow high quality food for our family, friends and community.
We are a first generation farming family growing on less then a half acre in Orfordville, WI. We grow highly nutritious and delicious microgreens and mushrooms year round. We also grow seasonal salad blends, herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, radishes, beets, turnips, and more March through November.
We incorporate organic, sustainable practices by using organic seeds, no chemicals, minimal tillage and use only organic materials.
As a family we believe in creating a sustainable ecosystem which in return creates healthy and tasty food for our local communities.
What We Do
We grow hydroponic salad greens, mushrooms and microgreens all year round.
We also run a seasonal produce farm. We are vendors at the beloit, janesville and whitewater farmers markets. We offer a 22 week community supported agriculture subscription in several sizes sure to suit your fresh produce needs. We are eagerly entering our second full season as first generation farmers. Our first full season has taught us an immense amount about ourselves and our abilities. We have the knowledge, skills, resources and ambition to provide you and your family with delicious, nutritious, fresh and local produce all year long. We strive to enhance the land we work with to provide an increasingly fertile diverse landscape surrounding our crops.
